DESIGN BRIEF
The goal of this project was to create a modular font using only angular shapes.As a result, this font, named Parallel, creates a unique and futuristic look that is perfect for reductive or two-toned posters. Our next project task was to implement our angular font into a two-toned poster.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Our goal was to create a modular alphabet designed completely by using only basic shapes, with the intention of using the font in a poster relating to the design of the typeface.
CONSTRAINTS
Some contraints included only using basic modular shapes with angles to construct the entire alphabet of the font. These shapes were used as the building blocks of the typeface.
STRUCTURE
Each letter of the typeface was designed along an angular slant. Since the shapes of the letters look like two parallels lines moving in an upward motion, the letters have a futuristic feel.
